What We’re Grateful for in Cyber Security: Operation Gratitude 2020 Edition

  • November 10, 2020

Circadence rolled out its first Operation Gratitude initiative in 2019–a social mission designed to ignite a sense of hope and gratitude in the cyber security community during the onset of the holiday season in the U.S. The name Operation Gratitude was inspired by our Project Ares specialized cyber training scenarios naming conventions, many of which are titled fun names like Operation Bear Treat and Operation Artic Cobra.

Operation Gratitude was such an uplifting initiative, we decided to do it again in 2020. And we are glad we did because this year has been anything but smooth sailing–and in the cyber security industry, more volatile than ever before. With the COVID-19 pandemic prompting a vast majority of businesses, agencies and academic institutions to work and learn remotely, cyber risks and issues around digital access, safety, and infrastructure vulnerabilities became higher priority.

We asked our full remote workforce what they are thankful for this year and we hope it inspires you to reflect and create your own gratitude list.

Now it is time to tell us what you’re grateful for, either in the cyber security community or just in your own personal life.

We are counting our blessings here at Circadence and are grateful to work with such amazing and dedicated partners, customers, and vendors who value cyber education, training and readiness using state-of-the-art learning methods in gamification and embracing advancements in cloud-based cyber ranges.
